I love to crochet and recently went looking for a great animal crochet pattern! I ended up making this little guy and had a blast! I felt pretty accomplished with the crocheted bunny and love how he looks. I would classify myself as a confident beginner in crochet.
There are a ton of other cute ones out there that made it hard to choose so I put together a round up of some of my favorite ones! I can't decide what to try next... That monkey is so cute! But the octopus would be perfect for a baby shower... or maybe the unicorn! Maybe a cute bundle of lions or dinosaurs? These are some of the funnest animal crochet patterns around!

You might have heard the term "amigurumi" - amigurumi refers to crochet toys such as animals or mini food, etc. Stuffed crochet animals are amigurumi and they are so cute! (Please keep in mind, if you are making nursery amigurumi for babies or small children, avoid using plastic eyes.)
