I have found the very best FREE Crochet Pumpkin Pattern – it turned out so cute! You know that I’m not a super-strong crocheter, so if I can do this, you can too. I would put it at a medium skill level.
So cute, right?! I actually made this last year and was so excited to re-discover it when I pulled out my fall decorations this year. And I had forgotten to blog about it then, so better late than never! Here are some images to pin so you can save this for later. Crochet Plaid Pumpkin Free Pattern
You’ll need:
Worsted Weight Yarn
Size H hook(5 mm)
yarn needle
handful of poly-fill
2 inch (or so) stick
I found this pattern at MegMadeWithLove and I think it’s the best! Simple enough to understand the plaid crochet and way fun to make. You don’t have to cut the yarn each time you switch colors, you just drop it down and pick up a different color and then drop it again, etc, etc.
After you crochet it, you tie yarn around it to bring in sections and make the classic pumpkin shape.
I also crocheted a quick leaf and hot glued it onto a stick that I had shoved into the center of the pumpkin.

Since I loved her Plaid Crochet Pumpkin Pattern so much, I also want to try out this awesome Mudcloth Crochet Pumpkin – I’ll have to add that to my to-do list!
