Thanks again for the great link-up yesterday – – if you didn’t get a chance to see all the projects everyone has been up to, it’s not too late. Check them out. And what was I doing while you took over my blog? something crafty and fun – not so much. I was giving my husband a whole new wardrobe – yes, I tackled the ironing pile. I haven’t done that since the first of the year. I’m pretty whippy in some things, but ironing is NOT one of them – my pile grows huge before I even think about it – and even then I put it off for weeks on end. Any hints for keeping on top of ironing??
Also, a couple of random things:
–enter to win a free photo card from Less Ordinary Designs – they’re amazing!!(ends Thursday)
–tonight is the deadline to RSVP to the Virtual Sewing Party – remember, you’ll get a chance at a doorprize (odds of winning are very high because I’ll be mailing out several) and be able to promote your blog
On to Showing Off a few things that stuck out to me from the link-up:
I have the perfect place for this cushion from Living With Punks — I hope to whip one up in the near future:
With Mother’s Day in mind, I love this whole package from AlyandAsh – it would even make a great bridal shower gift:
And speaking of weddings, my brother is getting married at the end of the summer – their colors involve green and I’ve been on the lookout for green jewelry – lucky me that this was linked-up from OnMySideOfTheRoom:
And you know how I love to sew clothes for little girls – this cute shirt shown over at Delilah’s Momma is all one piece – sounds easy enough:

Here’s how I keep up on my ironing…
I completely stopped ironing during one of my pregnancies. Works well. Now I just tell Mark to alert me if something needs ironing. And, since he rarely preplans his clothes, I rarely iron. What a great plan. :o)
