Now to Take-A-Look at something sent by a reader – – I had to share this bracelet my mom made – it’s all her grandkids (all my kids) names and birthstones – I thought this is a great Mother’s Day idea which is why I had to share it this week. She ordered her beads online – they are real silver and swarovski crystal, so it’s pretty fancy, but I would think you could replicate it with beads from Michael’s, etc, if you want to whip one up for someone special before this Sunday.
She found a clasp that had 2 hook things, and then tied 2 strands to each hook, so all 4 strands hook on that one clasp. I think you can see what I mean in the picture. (and by the way, taking pictures of jewelry is tough – kudos to all you jewelry-selling people – now I know how hard it is to take a picture of your product!)
So the great thing (for me anyways) is that my mom is done wearing this bracelet – and passed it on to me – wahoo!! Here I am modeling my new bling:
Now on to see your great stuff – I LOVE the link-up!!
So here are the basic rules to the link party if this is your first time here:
-
Link to a Specific Post, not your whole blog (to do this, click on the title of the post you want to link and it will open on it’s own page, then copy that url)
-
Grab my button below – you can post it on your post, on your sidebar, on a page of a list of link-ups, wherever as long as it’s somewhere
-
Try to visit a few other people on the list – it’s fun to support and encourage fellow craftiness – and everyone LOVES comments
If you’re new to link-ups and have questions let me know and I’ll do my best to help
