The only thing cuter than a mini picnic table, is a mini picnic table painted Sea Foam Green! Yes, we’ve conjured up a Sea Foam Picnic Oasis.
I was sent Deckover from Behr to use in a project (but all opinions are mine) – have you heard of it? It’s great for weathered wood or concrete – it covers splinters and cracks and gives a new smooth surface to the wood. So cool, right?! It comes in tons of colors, lots of wood variations, and some fun colors as well. I was drawn to this Sea Foam and had to have it – – are you brave enough to have a whole deck in SeaFoam?
I loved that it doesn’t require any primer – just start painting it on. It spread on really nicely – even the kiddos begged to get in on the fun:
It dried surprisingly fast (although it was super hot out – that might have had something to do with it) and really had great coverage. “The result for sound wood and concrete surfaces is a rejuvenated, low maintenance deck that resists the elements, repels water and creates a smooth, slip-resistant finish that is comfortable for bare feet.”
In one evening the blah picnic table had a total transformation – I just love how it came out!
I’ve dropped hints here and there, but we are embarking on a new adventure – country life! Not there yet, but close. The bonus is the background I’ll get for blog pictures, and fun country props like wildflowers from the field – – cause this is awesome:
Can you tell the lighting is changing as I’m taking pictures?? There was a crazy storm rolling in (tornado sirens went off a little after this) and the sky had all sorts of funky pigment. Glad I got the project done in time. And it put the paint to the ultimate test right then with a rain downpour – but it held up great! Another before and after for you – –
I bet you’re already thinking of the projects that you can use Deckover on – – make a faded-out deck look new again, spice up the outdoor playset, etc. Endless possibilities!
So stinkin cute!! And I am TOTALLY jealous of your new photo backdrops! : ) Pinning!

I didn’t even THINK of how much more awesome photos would be when we moved to land – – I’m loving it!
This is such a cute project! I love the color you chose! We are getting ready to paint our deck. It is an orangey brown tone now, and I think this fresh green would look so much better.
