Now that we have a little more extra time at home than normal, let’s get those projects done! Including adding a little more home decor. My daughter has a long wall in her room and she decided that it would be perfect for a photo display. Here’s that awesome Photo Wall Display Idea.
This is great for a teenage bedroom decor idea! Or in a fun family command center. Or living room collage. Lots of choices! This post may contain affiliate links.
How to Print Square Pictures
Square images are all the rage right now – everyone loves posting square images on Instagram and social media. The photo wall we made is in square images, but you can use whatever you would like.
We have an Instax Printer and it’s super cool!! We love it because:
–it prints pictures right from your phone – YES, from your phone!
–pictures develop instantly, at home, without going to the store
–you don’t have to have a specific camera, again, it just prints out the pictures from your phone into a polaroid format
How to String Up Photos
At first my daughter tried tape…. that doesn’t work 😉
To string up your photos, cut strings (we used cute baker’s twine) to desired length. Then wrap each end around a thumbtack several times, and push the thumbtack into the wall. This will make your string secure.
Next up, just clip the photos to the string using small clothespins. We used larger ones, but the smaller ones worked better and were cuter.
That’s pretty much all there is to it! It’s really fun and you can easily change out and update pictures that are on display. Hope you enjoyed this Photo Wall Display Idea.
