It was definitely time for a switch up of my open shelf decor – it still had Easter things up, whoops! So it was perfect timing for the Michael’s Makers Challenge! Looking for more patriotic DIY inspiration? Visit Michaels.com for more creative ideas.
As you can see, it had a very Easter vibe to the decor. It’s fun to be able to change it up for the different seasons.
I wanted every. single. thing., but I held back and came home with the following to work with:
That striped pitcher is my most favorite!! And I loved the subway art sign, but it was too tall for my shelves, bummer!
Timelapse Change Over
I think open shelving decor is a lot of trial and error, trying things, seeing if it works, then trying something else, and so on. I did a quick timelapse of the process so that you can get a feel for how it all came together:
