LDS Prints, Painted Poster Frames

I came across the CUTEST prints in the etsy shop Print It Engineer – I grabbed the LDS specific ones, but I also love the “Family is Everything” one.  So many cute options!  May contain affiliate links – all opinions are my own.

I love the fresh modern vibe of the prints!  They come printed on high-quality paper.  I grabbed the Extra-Large size, and they fit perfectly in inexpensive poster frames (I grabbed mine at Michaels but we’ve also bought them at Walmart before, and here are some I spotted on Amazon).

If you don’t have room for the extra large size, no worries, there are lots of size options to choose from.  Print It Engineer on Etsy.  But you know I’m weak for the large engineer prints!

Off of our main living area is a hall to the guest bath, my craft room, etc.  That’s where I have the prints hanging, lining the hall.  They always get compliments anytime anyone is over.  I love that they are eye-level and the kiddos and everyone can read them easily.

Painted Poster Frames

I can’t find any pictures of how I painted the frames – blogger fail!!  I know I posted it on Instagram stories, but that disappeared, bummer.  Anyways, I had white poster frames and painted them with regular acrylic craft paint, but that didn’t work.  The slick coating on the frames wouldn’t let the paint adhere.  So I then tried chalk paint.  It took 3 layers, but the chalk paint worked, phew!  I just love the pop of color with the frames.
