It’s almost summer, and I think that hemp bracelets and summer go hand in hand. It’s so fun to tie them on at the beginning of summer and see how long they will stay on. As they fall off, you can make a wish, and so sometimes these are referred to as Hemp Wish Bracelets. They are fun and easy to make, and I’m here with a simple tutorial for Hemp Bead Bracelets!
Here are some images that you can pin so you can save this idea and refer to it later. This post may contain affiliate links.
How to Make Hemp Bead Bracelets
You’ll need:
—Hemp Twine
—pony beads
—clipboard to hold as you braid and tie
—scissors
First up, cut 3 strands of hemp twine about 18 inches long or so. Grab all 3 strands together and tie into an knot to start. Leave a bit of a tail so that you can use that to tie the bracelet onto your wrist when it is finished.
Then clip the knot up under the clipboard to help you hold the strands while you create your bracelet. Braid the 3 strands for about 2 inches.
Then put one strand in the center and one on each side. With each side strand, tie a knot around the center strand:
String 7 (or as many as you desire) beads onto the center strand.
Then push up the top bead and a knot under it with the right strand, and again with the left strand.
Doing so will “wrap” the bead in the hemp strand.
Repeat with each bead.
After the beads have been added, braid the strands about 2 inches and then tie them all together in an overhand knot to finish off the bracelet.
That’s all there is to it!!
