Kids Craft: Gingerbread Man Banner

Hey everybody, I’m Steph from Crafting in the Rain and I’m happy to be here posting for Mandy again this year!

Today I’m showing you a project that I did with my kids this weekend. You will need:Gingerbread man shapes from brown paper…trace a cookie cutter, print a template, or use an electronic cutter. I used a file from Lettering Delights and made them about 6 inches tall

Cupcake liners

TwineTape

Markers, crayons, colored paper, glue, etc

Hand the men over over to the kids and let them decorate.

I gave them a sample one. You can see how they interpreted it 🙂

But they had a great time, and that’s the most important thing. (Does that one on the right remind anyone of Iron Man?)

To assemble the banner, tape gingerbread men to the twine, alternating with folded cupcake liners.

My kids already can’t wait till we decorate for Christmas and get to hang these up.

I hope this is something that looks fun to you.
