Obsessed with Buffalo Plaid, I want to decorate ALL the things with it! This cute tree turned out perfect!
I love how it turned out!! This post may contain affiliate links.

I love the flocked pencil tree from Michaels – so cute and great for small spaces!
DIY Ribbon Garland
Did you know that you can make your own garland? It’s true! This was you can really customize your tree decor. I used this buffalo plaid checked ribbon.
Simply cut ribbon into strips and then tie them onto twine. Wired ribbon will help the ties hold their shape a little better, but any ribbon will work.
Pro tip: once you put it on the tree, if your tree is in a corner, you can slide the ties to the front and fill it in fuller.
Use matching ribbon to make a large bow for the top of the tree:
Wrapped Present Wall
A part of the showstopper in this project is the Wall Decor – I simply wrapped up our family picture wall. Yep! Here’s a pinnable image for that idea:
Use a variety of wrapping paper that coordinate well together.
Pro Tip: you don’t need to wrap the back of the frames ;). Be sure to leave the picture frame hangers exposed.
Christmas Tree Base
I used a Christmas Tree ring as a tree skirt. I then filled the ring with paper to top it off. I used a regular-sized tree collar for a tree skirt, but you could also grab a smaller size.
I hope you enjoyed my plaid dream tree as much as I do!!
