Remember I’m not that fashiony – – so on Wednesdays I show off outfits, but with a crafty twist – outfits I’ve made, etc. So today it’s not my outfit, but my daughters…
I was a pattern tester for these Super Skinny Pants – the cool thing about them is that they have a strip of knit fabric running down the leg, so that gives them more stretch to get them on and off.
And the even cooler thing about them – – they walk you through sewing in a real zipper in the fly. Yep. I did it! I didn’t know I even could, but with the directions I figured it out. I felt like a sewing genius 🙂
The pants are made out of a light chambray fabric with the floral rib knit stripe. The top I made out of the same fabric a while ago, also pattern testing for something, but I can’t remember the name of the pattern (I know I blogged about it, but I can’t find it!). I’m in love with the fabric and want a top just like it for myself 🙂
Have you ever sewn in a zipper fly? Would you ever think you could? (cause you totally can!)

Yeah, I’ve sewn in zippers just about everywhere. They’re not difficult once you get the hang of it. But your daughter must be super super skinny because these pants don’t look super skinny. They look nice and sweet! And so does she. 🙂
