This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Little Debbie®. As always, all opinions are my own.
You know I love desserts. And I love them even more when they bring up sweet memories. Who here grew up with the occasional Little Debbie® treat as part of their lunch from home?? {hand raised} – it was always a special day when that happened! Today I’m taking those sweet memories and giving them a grown-up spin with this Triple Chocolate Trifle. So fun for a special throwback Mother’s Day treat, but also great for an anytime treat.
It was super fun (and super easy!) to create this trifle and I loved sharing it with my kiddos and telling them of my days of school lunches from home.
Cause hanging out with kiddos is awesome (and sometimes needs to be accompanied by a treat!)
Sidenote, we just got back from a family vacation to Florida – so fun! It was so fun and awesome to be making sweet memories that my kiddos we be able to tell their kiddos about…
But anyways, on to the recipe you’ve been waiting for!!
Triple Chocolate Trifle
You’ll need:
1 Little Debbie® Swiss Roll
1/2 Little Debbie® Cosmic Brownie
1/4 cup prepared pudding in Chocolate Fudge, White Chocolate, and Milk Chocolate (or whatever your favorite pudding maybe)
optional: toppings such as sprinkles and chocolate chips and nuts
I love trifles. I love how they seem like you spent hours on them because they look so fancy and amazing, but really they’re easy to make. And even easier when you use Little Debbie® treats because they’re premade and ready to go, easy peasy!
I put together a quick video tutorial if you love visual recipe tutorials – enjoy:
First you will cut up the Little Debbie® Swiss Roll and Little Debbie® Cosmic Brownie. Then add a spoonful of pudding. Then put in a few brownies and sprinkles/chocolate chips. Then add another couple spoonfuls of a different pudding, then add a couple slices of the Swiss Roll.
As you can tell, it’s not precise at all – just keep layering treats and pudding until your small cup or jar is filled. That’s all there is to it!
You’ll want the final layer to be pudding, and you can top that with sprinkles. Refrigerate until ready to serve, usually waiting at least an hour.
Share the treats and the memories with your kiddos! They will enjoy both!
