Sodastream Review – mmm, fizz……

Ever heard of SodaStream???  It’s amazing…..

 Where has this thing been all our life!?!?    Make you’re own pop – from water – yes!

Making carbonated water and soft drinks is simple! Turn tap water into sparkling water in under 30 seconds, with no clean-up. Enjoy the freshness and convenience of homemade soda and protect the environment at the same time. No heavy bottles to carry, store at home or throw away. Fizz to your taste and add the flavor of your choice to make your favorite drink. Simple to clean and reuse. With a variety of colors and silhouettes, you’ll be sure to find a soda maker to match with any decor.

Basically you fill a bottle with water, push a button to carbonate it, then add the syrup of the flavor of pop you want.  We are hooked!

The first time we used it, it wasn’t quite fizzy enough – – turns out we weren’t putting enough in.  Now we’re pros and over-fizz if anything. You’re supposed to push the button until you hear the buzz – it’s a real buzz, so wait for that.  I made a video of some newbies (every time someone comes over we say “hey, let’s show them how to make pop!” – it’s great fun!).  You can see how the kids LOVE this!!

Flavors – the possibilities are endless!  My favorite is the Pink Grapefruit – it’s got a kick I love.  Or maybe the Cranberry Raspberry… I can’t decide!

It takes a little different than regular pop – just like if you’re used to a certain brand of pop and then you try that same flavor in a different brand.  So it’s just a little different.  But good!
Did you know you can buy it in stores – awesome!  I think this would be such a fun family gift for those families that are hard to buy for…
I love having fresh fizzy pop right when we want it.  Ecofriendly because there aren’t all the bottles and cans. This has been such a treat to review!!  We give it a thumbs up for sure!

    Thanks for the review!!! I’ve been dying to know how good it really works!!! I want one so bad, and every time my boys see one in the store, they beg for it!!!! Maybe Santa can bring them one!

    You know I would never buy this thing because I despise their commercial. Yes DESPISE! Those lispy pathetic accents and the simp-y vancant stare of the mom make me want to scream. BYW I did have some at Mandy’s, the raspberry (or something) and it was OK.
