Another fun painted rock valentine idea for ya today – this time it’s You Rock Valentine Tic Tac Toe! I think it’s fun to pass out small games and trinkets for Valentine’s, and this is one that is easy to put together. And kiddos can jump in on the fun – they love painting and they love rocks, so it’s a win win 😉
I love how fun and easy this craft is!
And since the rocks are colorful, I designed the printable tic tac toe board in black and white grayscale, so as not to clash AND so that you don’t need to waste your color printer on it 😉 You can download the FREE file here: Valentine Tic Tac Toe Printable
You Rock Valentine Tic Tac Toe
You’ll need:
–rocks
–paint (and paintbrush)
–printable (see above)
First up, paint the rocks! I painted a layer of white first so that the color would be more vivid. I just used regular craft paint for both the color and the white coats.
Optional: after it dries, paint tiny hearts on them – so cute!
That’s it! See, super easy and super fun – valentine perfection:
I love how it turned out, and I would love to see if you try other color combos.

These rocks are so adorable … what a creative and fun idea. 🙂 Did you just clean them with some soap and water, or did you bleach them first?
