This is for all you LDS moms out there – when I was cleaning my craft room, I came across the Quiet Book – Interactive Book of Mormon that I had printed out, but hadn’t assembled. So I tackled the project! I wanted to show you how it came out – super fun:
It is great for church or a Sunday afternoon activity, or even during conference (and that’s coming up!)
It’s easy peasy to put together! The book is a printable from Book of Mormon for Kids – I printed both Volume 1 and 2. (I was sent the printable for review) I had all the pages printed in double-sided color on cardstock at a copy store, but the “instructions” side of each activity is a black-and-white page, so if I were to do it again, I would be sure to specify black-and-white printing for those pages. I think that would bring down the printing cost a little. Or, if you have a color printer at home, you’re good to go!
I then laminated all the pages and pieces – I want these books to last for eons! It took a little extra time to laminate everything, but I think it’s way worth it!
Then I took the laminated pages back to the copy store and had them bind each book for me. I cut apart all the laminated pieces, and we’re good to go!
The pieces store right inside the book, and so they’re ready for play. I attached mine in our book with ticky tack. That way it sticks the pieces on, but it’s easy to move around, etc.
You can grab your Interactive Book of Mormon and have your own ready in no time!
