NOW UPDATED FOR 2011-2018 School Year!! Last Day of School Shirts
We are big fans of autograph shirts! I haven’t made them for this year yet, but I will – and I didn’t want to wait on my slowness because I know some of you are more whippy than me and are ready right now to make your shirts. So I went ahead and got the new files ready for the 2014-2015 school year, wahoo! So the pictures are old, but the Last Day of School Shirts for 2014-2015 have updated cut files. If you have a Silhouette, you can just download the free file and not have to design it yourself. I also have a SVG file (thanks to an amazing reader, Kris! details on file conversion here) in case you have a machine (cricut, etc) that could use that file type.
For you pin-fanatics:
I made these last year after seeing them over at Eighteen25 – such a fun idea! And I cut them with my Silhouette Cameo. You can head over to their post to see how to make the shape, what fonts, etc. But if you’re lazy and just want the file to use, I’ve got that for you – it comes in grades pre-K through 6, but you can easily alter it for older grades if you need to do that. Just find the download at this link:

And while you’re in the mode of end of the year awesomeness, check out these other Last Day of School Ideas, you’ll love these. And I don’t think I blogged about it, but last year we (the parents) bombarded the kids at the bus stop with water guns and water balloons – it was the best year yet!
These are so cute! Thank you for sharing them! I just picked up 5 yards of black HTV and will be cutting, weeding, and heat pressing all weekend! I am using this file to make shirts for my whole 1st grade class!
Have you discovered which markers work best and don’t fade after a lot of washes? I was going to just use Sharpies, but I heard someone say that the ink eventually comes out.
I’ve always used sharpies (the black – the ones with fun colors fade) and haven’t had any problem – my kiddos wear their shirts all the time and the writing is still on them
I cannot get a file that I can use on any of those links. The first link, FREE cut file, Last Day of School Autographs, goes to https://www.sugarbeecrafts.com/free-silhouette-cut-files – and that page give me only a download called : 2014-15 last day school autographs prek-6.studio which I cannot open (what is a .studio doc?)
The second link above FREE cut file, SVG, Last Day of School Autographs goes to https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-CHHbPtK76sdjRvNnF6N01PWlU/view which only shows a Kindergarten cut out.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
The cut file is for use on a Silhouette cutting machine – its software uses .studio files. I had a generous reader convert those files into an SVG file, but I didn’t realize it only had kindergarten, sorry! I just emailed her – I think she has them all and they just didn’t download, so I’ll keep ya posted on that.
I think I got the full SVG file uploaded now – thanks again for letting me know!
If anyone needs the files and can not download them, shoot me an [email protected] and i can send them over..
I just came across this and I know it’s a couple of years old. I love this idea for my kindergartener and my 3rd grader. Especially since they are switching to a different school next year. By chance do you have this school year? I have a Cricut but I’ve never made anything like this before but would love to try
I need to work on this year’s dates!
