It’s already time to start thinking about your New Year’s plans – crazy, I know! We LOVE hosting a party for New Years and getting together with friends and family. Some years we have a family party, and some years it’s a teenager party, and some year’s it’s just adults. It’s fun to mix it up each year. Either way, I have a fun New Year’s Party Idea for you – Silver and Gold!
Be sure to pin this idea for later! This post may contain affiliate links which generate a small commission. I grabbed all the party supplies from Oriental Trading – they have so many great options!! Right now you can get FREE shipping plus $10 off $59, $15 off $79 and $20 off $99 with code SQUAD19.
Party Number Balloons
First up, the star of the show, number balloons! These are even bigger and more amazing than I pictured! So large that they could be the whole back-drop and made a great statement piece. They’re from Oriental Trading and we filled them with helium.
Party Color Theme
One way to tie a party together is with a simple color theme. Here I focused on Silver and Gold. Which was perfect because there were New Year’s Party Packs in Silver Gold! Party Packs are great because there were hats and leis and blowers that all coordinated. Perfect! Then add in party decor like balloons and fans in those colors and voila, perfection
Candy Party Idea
Nothing says party like candy!! In sticking with the color theme, I grabbed M&Ms and rock candy and gum balls, all in silver and gold.
I LOVE using candy in specific colors to really make a party extra amazing, and you can buy candy in specific colors from Oriental Trading. Win!
The rock candy and gum balls I put in cute containers, and the M&Ms I put in test tubes (also from Oriental Trading) for extra fun!
We made a quick stand out of scrap wood to hold the test tubes on display.
New Year’s Party Confetti
I grabbed a couple of different confetti options, first up tubes of pre-packed confetti, ready to spread in fun:
I also picked up a Confetti Cannon and can’t wait to use it!!
