Some people are into games on their phone – bust one out to fill a few minutes, etc. I think we’ve all had our stints with CandyCrush and Ruzzle, etc.
BUT, what I really love to do when I have some random time and my phone in hand (in the car pick-up line, waiting at the doctor’s office – you know, all that fun downtime) is play with photo apps. Now that’s my kind of fun!
See, that photo above – I thought it came out pretty great. Obviously there’s a color filter on it, but before I ran that I made it a bit more saturated and even added that awesome sun flare. And then topped it off with the vignette around the edges. I was wanting a great picture to show off my Paparazzi Accessories and how you can top off a plain tshirt with some fun earrings. Here’s the original photo I snapped with my phone at the park:
So then that picture is on my phone waiting until I need something to do while waiting, and then it’s time to play with photo editing. It’s just a fun something to do.
Here’s the side-by-side for your viewing pleasure:

I have an Android phone (Galaxy S3 – I’ve had it for a year and love it) and current apps that I have for photo editing are:
-Pixlr-o-matic
-PicsArt
-ColorSplash FX
-Photo Grid
-Photo
-Instagram
If you have a droid phone, I have a couple other phone-photo related posts:
—How to add fun fonts, instafonts, and use multiple photo apps for Android
—How to use Instagram for Android, and how to make photo grids
Do you have any photo apps that you love??
I’d love to spend a Friday night checking out new photo apps (I’m cool like that)…

love camera360! It has awesome skin-softening filters. And the camera app on my phone is poor, so I always take my pictures with it.
