The problem with self-building your house – you’re ever in project mode. I am ready to move out of “building” and on to “decorating”, but there are always tons of projects still looming. But even so, I’ve started implementing little hints of decor here and there. Let’s talk kitchen decor today. Remember our kitchen is mostly white and gray – white cabinets, gray countertops, so I definitely want pops of color. I’ve got all sorts of colors working, but I’m seeing an emergence of turquoise and green, no surprise since those are my favorite colors. So of course I am loving the new paper towels, Sparkle® paper towels Spirited Prints – they fit right in. Kitchen – bring on the decor!
We all have paper towels out on our counters – they are for sure a daily use item! But it’s nice to be able to pick a print that lets your design and personality come through instead of just boring paper towels – that’s why I’m liking these from Sparkle® Paper Towels.
A quick reminder of the overview of our kitchen – as you can see, I need to keep adding in decor! And I can’t wait to do some tile back splash, but that’s probably a year out or so. Just ignore the Christmas tree in October (fun things are in the works – yes, it’s turquoise!). You can see how I’m working in pops of color. I want to collect about a thousand more fun-colored cake stands for the tops of my cabinets.
I am loving my corner shelves with the glass doors – it’s a fun way to work in kitchen decor (the dishes) that’s also functional. Same with the paper towels – functional kitchen decor! That makes it just the right style.
When you grab those paper towels, you’ll want to grab the one that lets you show off your personality. Which design in the Sparkle® paper towels Spirited Prints is your favorite??
Do you have a special spot for your paper towels? I have mine right on the counter for easy access, and I found this awesome kitchen scale that I found at an antique store there as well. I’m thinking I need a few more things – something on the scale? Something else? I think decor grows slowly as you find things that fit and work with your vision, but sometimes I want it to happen faster! But I do love that I’m able to express myself via Style, Design and Décor.
You don’t wear the same thing every day. Why should your home? See all 17 Sparkle® Spirited Prints designs at https://www.sparkletowels.com/products/spirited-prints.

I love your kitchen and your choice for the pops of color. I love the idea of the cake stands above the cabinets too!
I would also like to thank you. I guest posted on your blog a few years ago and for the last few weeks that post has generated the most traffic to my blog! So, thank you for that!
I hope you have a great week! It’s a rainy one here in Georgia.

Thanks! It was a mixed media collage that I did back in 2012. I guess people are already thinking about Christmas! Here’s the link… https://www.sugarbeecrafts.com/2012/11/mixed-media-christmas-collage-by-artsyva.html
