Elf Shirt – Flocked Vinyl

You’ll Need:

–blank tee

—Flocked Heat Transfer Vinyl, HERE

–cutting machine – I use my Silhouette Cameo, love it!

–cut file – this one is from the Silhouette Design Store

Elf Shirt – Flocked Vinyl – Tutorial

I used Flocked Heat Transfer Vinyl in Red and Green (affiliate link).  I cut it with my Silhouette Cameo.  I bought the design in the online store (they’re only $0.50 right now!  well worth grabbing their design instead of trying to design my own).  So a quick how-to:

How to make a flocked vinyl shirt:

1. Download the Design
2. Mirror the Image (flip horizontally) – this is a MUST with heat transfer vinyl (and I forget all the time!  and then have to recut…)
3. Drag off the part you don’t want to cut, then cut the other part – your heat transfer should go into the machine with the clear shiny side down
4. Cut the other part out of the other color.
5. Place on your shirt and iron like crazy to melt it into the shirt.  Done!
