Possible Game Changer right here. This concept blows my mind – – you can cut your own custom rubber stamps with your Silhoutte cutting machine. Really!!
The idea I had was for all your shop/blog owners out there – custom logo/name stamp. Great idea, am I right?! More on that and my experience with the Stamping Kit on down in the post…

So, back to my thoughts – – I LOVE the concept and think this is going to be amazing – but, I do think there’s a learning curve….
I cut my name too big (eh, a 6 inch long logo – what was I thinking?!) and my bee logo is really detailed – I think I should have started with something simpler because the microscopic lines and antenna where hard to work with. You have to manually place everything you cut onto the stamping pad, so keep that in mind as you choose your shape.
I need more colors of stamping pads! I swear I have yellow for the bee, but can’t find it anywhere….
I tried stamping on a folded box first, but after trying (with no success) on all 4 sides I gave that up – Trevor had to point out to me that it wasn’t a flat surface (the folds in the box, etc) and that’s why my image wasn’t stamping all the way, etc.
This is what I get for waiting til the last minute to try out a new craft! So, tomorrow, I want to start over and make my blog name smaller, maybe stacked instead of in a line. And then practice my stamping – true crafter confession, I’m a stamping newbie.
Then it’s go time!! Because this has huge potential!
So – what kind of stamp would you make? I need to make some more, but I don’t even know what! Maybe a “hello.” one for cards or something? I’m looking for ideas, so if you have one, let me know…

I agree, Mandy – -there is definitely a learning curve, but once I got over that hump, I found it really fun to work with! And yes, simpler, less intricate cuts are best to start off with. I also learned that the hard way. But what a fun idea to create stamps of your blog logo! I’m sure you can use this for so many things….
Warmly,
Lauren
