Today’s What I Wore Wednesday blog post is a special Extender Slip edition. Who here has an extender slip?? (I can now say I do!). Who needs an extender slip? – I’m here to say if you don’t have one, you need one. And you can WIN ONE today – keep readying… So handy! for all those dresses that just aren’t quite as long as you hope them to be.
As you know, I am a big garage sale fan. I have a smaller-frame body so I’m able to find the discarded clothes of youth and pretend like I’m in style. But what’s with those dresses being so short?!? yowza. I bought this dress with the intent to wear it with leggings. Which I’ve done in the past, shown here:
But when I was sent a Slip Extender from Babblings and More, I knew it’d be the perfect dress to try it out. Sorry the picture is kind of blown out…I got a little crazy and did a blue-on-blue color scheme with the light blue belt and necklace and dark blue dress.
It’s hard to tell in the picture above, but the slip is double layered eyelet which really adds dimension and makes itself a part of the outfit. Here’s a better view of the slip:
Cute, right?! I want to wear it with everything. I remembered that when I tried on this other thrift store dress, several people suggested wearing it with a slip extender, so here’s that, in a side-by-side – – changes the whole look:
I was really impressed with the slip from Babblings and More. If eyelet isn’t your thing, they have lots of other options, so be sure to check them out. The slip was actual slip material (silky-ish) on top, with the trim added to the bottom. Perfect fit and length. And it’s elastic waist so I can always wear it higher or lower if I need to.
Thanks Babblings and More! And for one week, there’s a special discount code – Sugar Bee Craft readers can get 10% off by using the code IHEARTSISTERS.

I don’t even own a slip anymore! It’s been a good long while. I generally wear a pair of spandex running shorts under my dresses. Classy I know =)
