Recap time! This past weekend we ran The Color Run – it was so fun! It’s events like this that let me reflect on the little moments in life. Take time to add fun moments into your everday living. This is what it’s all about! Here’s a before and after for ya —
As we ran, we’d pile on colors at every station. The kids would get excited as they saw the next station on the horizon:
Fun, right?! I love being able to celebrate life. The Good Life! It’s a perfect campaign for Allstate Good Life. I know we’re in the middle of our Good Life, and I want to make those memories and celebrate the fun of our family. I love that we did this as a family – it’s the way to go! Plan those family outtings – like a run, or trip to the ice cream store, or backyard campout (all things we’ve done the past couple of weeks) – – make those memories. Celebrating the moments of simplicity and contentment in life help to build memories for when life brings adversity – something in our minds to give us strength and positive outlook.
Do you have a good life story?? A special moment of celebration?? I love the fun of everyday life – make it special and enjoy the moments!! Feel free to share your own good life stories in comments – I’d love to hear them!

What camera did you use during the Color Run? We did a Color Dash recently but had been advised to not bring our cameras/phones. We put an iPhone in a ziploc and took pics but they weren’t great 🙁

Hey Shawna – – I used my phone – it’s a Samsung S3 – – I just was willing to “risk it” and bring it – – I kept it in a pocket during the heavy color areas, but wasn’t too concerned – it seemed fine – –

My daughter and I did the color run back the first of May and had a blast. We stopped and took pics after each color station. It was so much fun!
