If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I have been swept away by yummy shakes this summer. But with summer coming to an end, it’s time to find another solution. At-home milkshakes! Today I’ve got a quick tutorial on how I replicated my favorite flavor – Strawberry Cheesecake Shake:
First, gather up your ingredients:
You’ll need:
–carton of ice cream
–cheesecake (homemade would be awesome, but I just bought one of those prepackaged individual pieces)
–strawberries
–International Delight Creamer – Sweet Cream flavor
I’m all about easy, so these are approximations. You can adjust to your own personal preferences…
Add about half the carton of ice cream to the blender. Then add 6-8 strawberries. Then 1 slice of cheesecake. Then pour about 1 cup of the creamer in on top. Blend it up and that’s it!! Easy, right?!
The creamer has a “melted ice cream” flavor, so I loved using it instead of milk to just add a little extra flavor to the shake. You purchase it in the coffee creamer section, which is normally next to the milk section.
I would have taken a picture of us and all the kiddos drinking their shakes, but I took a few “beauty shots” of my cup first and when I was done taking pictures, they had already snarfed down their shakes. They are so yummy!!
Love ice cream + coffee? This summer, International Delight is bringing your favorite Cold Stone Creamery ice cream flavors to coffee and they’re celebrating by giving away five $400 grand prizes to throw this summer’s ultimate Ice Cream Social!
