Showing Off – Reader Feature

Hey Sugar Bee Readers!  It’s Melanie from the Crafty Cupboard, where I quilt for friends, sew for my three adorable girls, sometimes update my shop, and craft for my home.  I LOVE Mandy’s link-up party, and I love looking at the top favorites even more.  I’m so glad I can take a turn at it, even though it was pretty tricky narrowing down my top picks. 

I am more of a modern gal, so you had better believe I got excited about these color blocked curtains by Creatively Living!  What a great idea!

Speaking of geometrics, how about this for a great, eye-catching way to use up scrap boards, by Girl Loves Glam?

As a sewer, quilter, and former student of design, I’m loving this chevron pillow.  Can you believe those chevrons are made from stitches?  Bev @ Flamingo Toes is my hero now.

So, having three girls means there are a lot of skirts around.  And rainbow everything.  So, put it all together, and Sew Easy Being Green has the perfect tutorial for any chevron-rainbow-twirly loving girl.

I just finished my baby’s nursery (or, at least I stopped working on it…) so I was excited to see what Made it on Monday did for her baby girl’s room!  Check it out- I love, LOVE the little bird houses!

I’m trying to convince my girls to be Fancy Nancy for Halloween (right now they are bent on Strawberry Shortcake) because I adore that little French-loving girl, and lets face it- her clothes would be AWESOME to DIY.  Let’s all do a collective “aaawwwww!!” at this Fancy Nancy Birthday party, at VixenMade.  I’m totally offended I wasn’t invited. 😉

I live in Mesa, Arizona, where Fall doesn’t really happen.  Like, at all.  But I still am lovin’ this Fall printable from How to Nest for Less! And it is Free Mc-Free! 

Isn’t this glasses case fun?  You should see the Before and After together!  Ann-Kay, that was a bright idea!

These labels by All This For Them are something I ought to do.  My girls are always wearing their handmade clothes backwards, or in the wrong size.  If I made some clothing tags, that would make getting dressed- in the right clothes, the right way- a whole lot easier.
