Party Time!!

Look, it’s time to celebrate:

Yep, today’s my birthday.  True Story.  Me and the artist formerly known as Prince now reknown as Prince – birthday buddies.  And the girl who used to live across the street.  It’s a great day to be born!

I know what you’re thinking….

–“that’s a super cute cupcake stand!”  – I know!  I bought it off of Pick Your Plum – it’s my favorite deal site – I order from there all. the. time.

–“heart sprinkles make everything cute!” – I agree!  I got those in the swag at SNAP – score!

–“her eyebrows look photoshopped” – of course they are – there were some crazy flyaways!

–“wow, she got up early and did a whole photo shoot and blog post on her birthday, just to share pics with us” – – nope.  True blogger confession – I just HAD to make this giant cupcake.  randomly.  a week ago.  So that I could pre-write this blog post.  Oh the woes of being a blogger – being forced to make random cupcakes 🙂

–“wonder how old she is” – me too!  seriously, after 32ish, I can’t ever remember.  For about 6 months of 2012 I thought I was 34 – but I was only 33.  I had to call my cousin Kate and Trevor to confirm (it all happened when Kate had a birthday and turned 34 – and she’s 6 months older than me – and I’m all, wait a minute, that means I’m 33?!).  And then I just keep forgetting.  For this post I had to get out the calculator and do the math to be sure I knew my age.

–“where are the outtake pictures” – well, keepin’ it real, here ya go – – top left, me with Jazz Hands around the cupcake and Trevor’s all “uh, maybe just keep your hands down – they’re not really in the shot” so then I laugh that I’m even using hands to pose and I accidentally blow out the candle (bottom left) – and yeah, that happened more than once.  Oops.  And then I did a blow-the-candle-out shot, and got this crazy-eyed version of myself – awesome.

So now I’m sure you’re wondering “oh man, what can I get her for the big day?!”
What, you didn’t get me anything?? Don’t worry – your presence is presents enough 🙂
