Yep, I’m at it again – – video crafting!! I know some of you love it. Today I’m talking all about the Mother’s Day Craft I whipped up – a painted frame. Using paint from DecoArt that was sent to me for a project:
And my daughter made a Glass Swirl Vase:
Video of awesomeness – – and it’s Take-Your-Child-To-Work-Day, so my 2nd grader is in on the fun of this, along with Heather of Twin Dragonfly Designs:
This started with a blank frame:
For my daughter’s project, she just used a bunch of those DecoArt Glass Paint Markers – they were easy for her to use and she could do pretty intricate swirls with them. Then since they were on glass, they were a little hard to see, so she put a piece of white paper inside the jar to showcase the swirls.
You can watch the video to see some projects from Heather, including a super-cute birdfeeder idea from an old teacup – I think I’ll be making one!
And catch tons of other ideas all week long on Crafty Hangouts!!
