I normally keep my hair pretty short, but I’ve been trying to grow it out – ever since I went to the blog conference last year and EVERYONE had those giant buns on the top of their heads – I like to refer to it as the “blogger bun”. So I’m getting close to that – I can do a top knot, which is close to a bun.
First attempt at the top knot was on New Year’s Eve, and I’ve been rockin’ it about once a week since.
And I’ve been able to do some fun braides, etc:
But then I came across this older picture of me with short hair….and I like it! So, I’m sure my “long” hair won’t last long…
Are you a short-hair or long-hair type of person?? I think I’m a short-hair person, although I’m currently trying to give long hair a chance (swayed by all those cool hairdos with long hair on pinterest).

I’m in the same boat! I used to rock a super-short faux-hawk and always got so many compliments, but now I’ve got long hair I’ve been growing out for three years. I’m really liking the long hair, but I loved my faux-hawk and every time I see pictures I want it back 🙂 We’ll see how long the long hair will last–I’m trying to grow it long enough to be able to donate when I do decide to cut–but it’s hard! I’m definitely a short-hair person. I like your hair both ways, btw 🙂
I love the braids you’re rocking, way too cool. All my life I had short hair and I’ve been progressively growing it for the past three years. It’s finally at my goal length (below my bust)and I couldn’t be happier! My hair doesn’t poof, it’s weighed down by the length and it forms nice waves all on it’s own. I have the same problem when I see pictures of myself with a bob, it’s such a cute style! But try growing it out because long hair is fabulous!!
I lie mine to be just long enough to go into a ponytail (just past shoulder length)! And since it is REALLY wavy, it looks awful short–and long just makes me cranky because it’s always in the way and is way too hot.

I want to go to your stylist right now and get that short cut! I love it!! The braids are fun, but I’m just too jealous of that short hair. I’m pinning it, actually. I can never get my short hair right – mostly it ends up being too flat, or looking like a bowl.

i can never decide! I cut my hair and then I let it grow for another year or two before chopping it all off again. Your hairstyles are really fun but your short hair looks great, too!

I like both, but I think your personality fits short hair better:) I LOVED it short.

I’m definitely a short hair person. My hair is really thick and curly so it’s unmanageable when it’s long. With that said, every so often I try to grow mine out, thinking it’ll be a good idea. It never is.
I have long hair. But I keep on thinking I am going to cut it shorter, but not too short. I also want to get bangs. I have no idea what I want! HAHA! I have been trying to figure it out for over a month.

I entered the ‘I’m growing it out phase’. I am done with it and ready to get a super cute short cut.

I like both. I’ve tried both too, I always felt it never was right when the stylist cut. So now I cut it and I like it short and it really turns out great, It looks how I want it. 🙂

I always cut mine short, grow it out and get sick of it and go short again! Yours is super cute short!

I prefer my hair on the short side because it is super fine and goes limp at the slightest hint of moisture in the air. But, the husband prefers it on the longer side so we meet in the middle with shoulder-ish length hair 🙂
I just whacked about six inches off of my hair. It feels AMAZING to have a new style. I rocked long hair for about five years, but the long bob (the LOB! ha) is much more me. You are gorgeous any way you are, but I love your short hair in that pic!
