For LIFE – Moen!! (and a giveaway!)

I haven’t talked about my kitchen in a while… we had to backtrack a little.  My lovely counters had some flaws, so a tech came out to inspect and agree that they were flawed – and of course it was a problem they couldn’t fix in-home.  So a team came out and removed them, then I lived a few days without counters – more importantly, without a KITCHEN SINK! (try living without one of those!) – and they installed them back in yesterday.

So I’ve got to tell you all about my sink – I love it – it’s granite, black, and extra deep on one side.  I dived right in to using it and dyed some stuff in it today – and you couldn’t even tell – the dye just rinsed right out (phew!).  I love that it’s so deep.

But what I love most about my sink is my faucet – I never knew I’d be so giddy about a faucet!!

 It’s true love.  Do you know what that is??  THE most amazing faucet.  Moen sent the product to me to review, and I have nothing but praises to give it.  Their motto is “buy it for looks, buy it for life” and that’s so true – I love the looks, but even more I love the solid feel and that I know this is going to last forever.  I love the one-handle level for on and off and hot and cold – that was a must in choosing.

It is the Ascent Classic and you can read all about it HERE.  My favorite feature is the Reflex system, which is offered on several of Moen faucets.  It means the end of the faucet pulls out, and then can pull itself back in – seriously!  My old faucet had a sprayer on the side – which is bad enough, but on top of that, you’d need to feed the hose back in.  This is quite the opposite.

I feel like I’m basking in luxury any time I’m using my faucet.

    What a timely giveaway! We’re in the middle of building our own home…I just finished the wiring with my husband’s help. We’ll be needing a faucet soon. 🙂 I’ve been planning on purchasing a Moen faucet very similar to this one. Winning would be that much sweeter! We’re also using Moen Eva faucets in our new bathrooms.

    I love the moen bathroom faucets most.. Although my kitchen faucet is broken and needs to be replaced, so at this point.. a kitchen faucet is on the top of my “love” list!

    I like the Extensa in Glacier, it is similar to what I have now, except my current one is a Kohler and it leaks and will need to be replaced sometime this year. So I could really use a new faucet.

    Moen… oh moen… the household name of quality and style! I love this faucet! (and mine is leaking like crazy and now all my floor boards are warped so a new one is a must 🙂 i love all their stuff but I am particularly leaning toward the oil rubbed bronze hand held shower head

    I’d love that faucet- and I’m in love with Moen eco-friendly shower heads. The ones in our house are older and not water-wise at all. They’re next on the replacement list!

    Everything on the Moen website looks pretty awesome, but I think I like the ioDIGITAL shower systems the best! I love how you can just press a button and hop in the shower. I especially like the spa systems though they all look very high tech and would take me a while to figure out how to use them. I imagine it would be super relaxing to unwind with a spa system like those at the end of the day
