This post is for all you that are local to the Kansas City area – – I want to tell you about the show I saw at Starlight on Monday evening – Footloose!

True confession time – I have never seen the movie Footloose. But I knew lots of the songs. And the musical was AMAZING. Really great, and the production did a great job.
I’ve been to Starlight one other time, and just love it – there’s something about watching a performance out in the open that’s awesome. I took my cousin Kate with me and we had a blast.
We even took a backstage tour before the show. It was interesting – I love seeing behind-the-scenes and hearing about different details, etc. Oh, and here’s the Starlight Theater in LEGOS, via the display at Legoland – you know it’s a Kansas City Icon if it makes the cityscape at Legoland 🙂
