How to Make Simple Pinwheels
You’ll need:
-Patriotic Paper (6×6, I love getting a 6×6 pad of paper)
-Paper Straw
-Buttons
-Hot Glue, glue stick, scissors
First up you can glue 2 pieces of paper together so that it’s double-sided. This isn’t required, but I love how it looks!
Then fold each corner to the opposite corner and then unfold. This will provide a creased “x”.
Cut from the corner along each crease until about 1/2 in away from the center. Do not cut through the center.
This creates 4 triangles. Take the bottom left corner of each triangle and glue it to the center of the paper.
Repeat for each corner, being sure to use the same corner each time.
If desired, push a thumbtack through and into the top of a straw. Or just hot glue the pinwheel onto the top of the straw.
Using hot glue, attach a button to the center of the pinwheel.
That’s all there is to it!!
