I think a lot of people are scared when it comes to baking bread products. Don’t be! It’s been pointed out that it took less time to make these rolls from scratch than to defrost and bake frozen rolls you buy at the store – and these are yummier! And they’re not hard at all – really – try them.
I found the recipe at here at If I Could and she shows how to make them so I won’t do a repeat – just hop on over there. I did substitute a cup of wheat flour for one of the cups of regular flour. They poofed up nice and big – I love giant rolls.
My only thing was that I could slightly taste the powdered milk in them, but I have this thing about the taste of powdered milk – yuck. But then I was talking to my mom about powdered milk and she thought mine might be bad – I cracked open a newer can and sure enough, look at the difference (old on the top, new on the bottom):
So I think something was up with my powdered milk. My mom stores her opened powdered milk in the fridge – I never knew that – mine has been open in the cabinet for several years – that could be part of it’s problem. I’m anxious to try this recipe again with normal powdered milk.

Thanks for the shout-out! I’ve never tasted the powdered milk before, so hopefully your second round tastes a little better! Glad you liked these.
