As you know, we recently built our own home. With that, as many of you who’ve moved into new homes know, comes cultivating a yard. It’s been a process, but we’re pretty excited about the front lawn and are in full force in establishing the back lawn.
Along our driveway we’ve worked as a family to plant trees and establish the lawn there as well. We started with little twigs – hopefully in 20 years we’ll have a tree-lined drive!
As we’ve been on this yard-establishing journey, we’ve found tools that have really helped – our favorite being the Gilmour Sprinkler – seriously, it’s ah-mazing!!
The backyard is definitely a challenge. Just we we thought we were getting a lawn to start, we ended up adding additional drainage to our gutter downspouts to channel the water away from the house.
Which meant starting over, with more seeding and watering:
In the past we’ve always used lawn sprinklers, so we’re familiar with several kinds – this is by far our favorite! Trevor even made sure to tell me how awesome this sprinkler is and how it does a great job. We love using it!
It is the Medium Duty Pattern Master® Circular Sprinkler and I would definitely recommend it to everyone. You can customize your sprinkler’s spray which is so cool. You can also create your own spray pattern to fit any irregularly shaped area of lawn. Flexible ring customizes spray distance at 12 different points for the ultimate in precise watering. It has a 43-ft. spray distance (up to 5,800 sq. ft. coverage), adjustable collar for partial- to full-circle coverage, and a Lifetime warranty. It basically makes all your sprinkler dreams come true!
