Bloggers Gonna Blog (blogversary!)

Do people even celebrate Blogversaries anymore?! Either way, here we go – – it was 8 years ago tomorrow that I started this blog, and I could have never even imagined it would be all it is today. My FAVORITE part about blogging is when I hear from you, and how you were able to tackle a project. I LOVE being able to help other people be creative!! Sugar Bee Crafts

You might have noticed by now if you read the blog on your computer, but if you only read this blog on mobile or via email, etc, you might want to pop on over to www.SugarBeeCrafts.com and check out the new layout that I’ve been tweaking this past fall – I’m so so in love with it! Here’s a couple of screen shots, but it doesn’t really do it justice – –

There are fun Popular Projects and Posts right across the top, and those change out pretty frequently depending on the season, etc. Then there’s the most recent post, so you can check that out easily. THEN, sometimes it’s hard to catch up on blogs that are categorized because I can’t find what they’ve posted recently. So the top category on mine is “Recently on the Blog”, where you will find the 6 most recent posts so you can catch up on all the projects. And THEN, it dives into visual categories, like Crafts, DIY, Sewing, Recipes, etc – and shows the past 6 most recent posts for those categories. I love how visual it is!

I feel like the blog has evolved over the years to get to the point where it’s at today – – a brief glimpse of a few logo headers along the way… (did you know it was very first called Craft Edition?? because it was the Craft Edition of my family blog 😉 )

And business cards have evolved too! I love my newest ones, they’re postcard size and amazing 😉

It’s so fun to look back a little at the journey of blogging! ( a few years ago I wrote a little about How Blogging Has Changed my Life – such a fun series!) If you’ve ever considered starting a blog – do it!!

Bloggers Gonna Blog

Aren’t these Bloggers Gonna Blog notebooks the cutest?! I made them as handout prizes for a conference I was speaking at last year, and never got around to blogging about them, whoops! Anyways, I just grabbed the notebooks in the dollar spot at Michaels and then added gray vinyl (I buy all my vinyl from Expressions Vinyl – affil. link, and I seriously love them). It’s a super quick project that turned out super awesome. I know you’ll as, the fonts are Bebas Neue and Laser Metal, so you can make some for yourself!
