I’m so thrilled as a newbie to the blogging world to be able to post on this wonderful craft site. I thank Mandy so much for having me.
I want to tell you a bit about me. I am a mom of 4 kids ages 2-8 , married for 7 years to a wonderful man . I am stay at home mom and in my spare time I like to sew , bake and read. I used to be very into scrapbooking until I was introduced 2 years ago to sewing. it started out as a small quilt project and got me hooked. I have now spread out and starting doing a few other kinds of sewing projects , however I am still a beginner.I find patterns difficult but tutorial awesome. My blog is all about the struggles I face and the projects I do as a beginner.
I don’t have a tutorial of my own to share with you but i do have one that I have permission to share and hope you will all check it out.My friend Karen recently put a tutorial on her blog of a skirt pattern to make for a little girl. I found it very easy and highly recommend it. You can find the tutorial at https://twiceasniceboutique.blogspot.com/2010/07/gathered-skirt-tutorial.html . Karen is a fabulous seamstress who has taught me alot. Here is a picture of the skirt I made my daughter.
I think its very rewarding when something turns out good and I have been successful with it, but I never regret doing a project I ALWAYS learn from my many mistakes. Enjoy your summer 🙂 Thanks for checking me out – see more of me on my blog at Sew Into Crafts.
