First I printed off a calendar so I could rummage through ideas and know what I needed to plan for, such as what books to get, and know where I need to hide them and when.
These are great, all plastic…
Took them all apart…
At first glance, thought this was a good idea for ‘snow’…
Wasn’t considering static electricity. So after a lesson from the 3rd grader…
I decided to funnel them in…
Much better!
I opted to not get Christmas Paper, already have an infinite supply of it…
Printed off my list…
And cut my strips (I measured the ornament opening first)…
Oh, and you must have a good helper who uses the blade till it’s too dull for anything…
Anywho, back to the strips…
After cutting, I curled. Very carefully, they will tear..wa..waa…waaaaa….
Curly Q’s…
Making sure it fits…
Punched out the numbers of the days…
The ornament hooks pushed through super easy…
A dollop of hot glue on the inside of the lid…
I pushed the ‘activity’ paper in the glue, let it dry for a sec, then ran a straight pin through the hole for the hook, just to start a hole to guide the hook in…
Run the curly in…
Shake it like polaroid picture…
Almost there…
Viola, all finished!!
