Did you read my tutorial on Stamped Washers?? Did you get all your supplies and now you’re wondering what else you can make?
I tried to think of a way to make something for myself that would show off all my kiddos. I took 4 stamped washers and 2 ribbons – with one ribbon go over and with one ribbon go under, through the hole. Then tie a knot between each washer. It came out like this:
I thought it could be a bracelet or anklet, but when I tied it on I just wasn’t loving it.
So I changed plans – – now it’s perfect:
A keychain tht gives me a lot to hold on to, yet it’s not terribly bulky and it can fit well in a pocket if it needs to. These are really inexpensive to make, so go grab some supplies and crank out a few! (Late-breaking news: my 3 year-old just grabbed my keys and the new keychain and said “this is awesomely-cool, mom!” – it’s a hit)
Also, remember this grad present I made? My cousin ended up hanging it on her rear-view mirror – I thought that was a perfect place for it.
Let me know if you have any other ideas of what to do with the stamped washers – if I get several great ideas I can do a reader-feature post on them all…

I love your tutorials – as you may have read from my previous comment I made the breadsticks yesterday (big hit), and today I stamped some washers and started making my thread rack. I was able to get the pegboard for free (my grandpa had made it long ago for his tools) but I did have to buy some dowel and spray paint. The glue is drying as we speak – I can’t wait to paint it!!! When it is all done I will post a before and after on my blog with a link back to your tutorial if that is okay.

Very cute! I wonder if we make ones with lots of those big heavy washers and wear them a lot if that would be good exercise?!! Ha! Thanks for linking up @PonyTails&FishScales!
