Hello Sugar Bee Readers! I’m Ashley and I blog over at My Craftily Ever After. I have a great mix of recipes, crafts, family life and all the other random stuff that happens along the way (like getting to be on wheel of fortune!). I am so excited to be here (thanks Mandy!) sharing my favorites from this weeks linky party!
First up is this amazing paper dahlia wreath by love, pomegranate house. It is super duper simple and really should be hanging on my front door…maybe if my kids ever nap I’ll make one!
Have you ever heard of Yuca? I hadn’t, but since I went vegan a month or so ago I have been looking for new and interesting ways to eat my veggies, this recipe for Yuca Fries by Just Dip it in Chocolate, looks delicious. Hopefully I can find some at my local grocery!
As a newish blogger I am always looking for ways to make my photos better (who isn’t!) and this super simple post by The Gunny Sack hit the nail on the head for me! She shares her food photography tips in a way that make me smack myself in the forehead and say “duh”!
I have a serious weakness for grilled cheese sandwiches! I mean serious. There is this place in Portland called the Grilled Cheese Grill, I would eat there all the time if I could (and if I lived in Portland…)! This pesto, tomato and mozzarella grilled sandwich looks phenomenal and I bet it would be just as good with my vegan cheese, hmmmm. Joyful Homemaking you have got my wheels a turning and my belly grumbling!
I have stinky feet. I am not a smelly person (at least I don’t think I am), but I have sweaty feet. Sweaty feet turn into stinky feet pretty quickly so when I saw the View from River Mountains post about eliminating stinky shoes I was intrigued. OMG…she has the best idea and I don’t know why no one else has done this before (mainly me)! Go over there and see what she uses to eliminate stinky shoes!
I talked at the beginning of the year about all the pins that I wanted to complete this year and Rachel over at Maison de Pax just reminded me that I have totally been slacking with her awesome post about how she made Ruffled Curtains!! I love that she prefaced the post by saying that she was not an accomplished seamstress (neither am I)!! I need to get going if I am going to have a chance at doing this one before December!
This stash buster project from Hey Little Mother blew my sock off! I don’t have any of those cute little bird houses in my stash, but maybe I should!! I think I might have to head out to JoAnn’s to pick some up! I think the moss one is my favorite!
Do you have an earring problem? I do! This tutorial from A Little Bit of Craft is going to do nothing to help that problem either! She shows you just how easy it is to make your own hoop earrings! Stop it lady, you are going to give me ANOTHER craft addiction!! 🙂
If you are dieting scroll quickly because these Reese’s ice cream cupcakes (and all the other on her blog) are enough to make you gain 5 pounds just by looking at the pictures! Seriously! They look so good and she makes them sound super easy to make! Maybe I will have to do this for a special event coming up!
I have been slowly working on my own laundry room (we moved in to our forever house about 3 weeks ago) and so this post was super timely for me to read! Kristi over at i should be mopping has the best ideas and she executes them beautifully! Go check out here new hook storage in her laundry room!!
Finally a shameless plug for my own blog! I made some vegan nachos the other day which will rival any cheesy, meaty nacho out there! Super easy and you don’t even realize you are eating so many vegetables, I promise!!
and I haven’t told anyone yet, but I am turning 30 next month! I am in the process of planning a Vintage Hollywood Glam party complete with costumes and fun decorations! Come over to my blog and follow along with how the planning is going! Here is a sneak peek at my fancy schmancy invitations!
