Hi Sugar Bee Readers, I’m Polly and I’ve been blogging for several years over at Helping Little Hands. You can find a little bit of everything on my blog…everything from quilting, sewing, jewelry, cooking, children’s books, cakes and more. I’ve been linking up to Take-a-Look Tuesdays for a couple years now and thought it would be fun to take a turn to pick some favorites.
This week I linked up a couple of fun projects…
My This Way and That Quilt done up in Rocket Launch Club fabrics…
and
I’ve done quite a few Harry Potter themed projects the last few months, so if you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll want to check out tips for making your own Golden Snitch Necklace.
So here are a few other projects that caught my eye…
We’ve done some melted crayon art on my blog a couple years ago, but I love how Elise from Grow Creative uses in her melted crayon art tutorial.
When my grandfather died a couple months ago, I grabbed some leather cording from his shop without really knowing what I’d use it for…so I was excited to see this How to make a Leather Choker for Pendants Tutorial from Jewelry Making Journal.
And Wow! I’m impressed that Jenn from A Jennuine Life made so many dolls for her daughter’s whole dance class.
My youngest son Anson is definitely getting to that age where I need to make one of these Perfect Little Boy Dress Shirts from Happy, Healthy, Domestic. He’s outgrowing his onesie-tie-shirt, so I’ll be making one of these Always Tucked Shirts soon.
This empire waist dress from Amy Stebbins definitely deserves a feature…WOW! Love the fabric, cut of the dress, and the best.
And last but not least, this Quilted Mat Sew Along at Sew Delicious looks like fun. I’ve got some I-Spy squares that I think I might use for this.
