I might be a little obessed with these Reversible Holiday Blocks – I love them!! They’re super easy to make, thrifty, and fun! AND, they’re REVERSIBLE, which means it’s two projects in one, love that! It made for a great group project at my craft club!
And so of course I want to share with you how to make one for yourself!!
It was so fun to see all the different versions that everyone made! I love craft club for that reason – all the fun options and variety.

Let’s Dive Right in to the Tutorial!
Reversible Holiday Blocks
you’ll need:
— 1×4, 8 ft long (you can make 3 projects with it!)
–1×2, at least 2 ft long (for the 3 projects)
–paint -or- scrapbook paper and mod podge
–letter decals -or- paint to handpaint them
AND, your lucky day – – it’s a VIDEO TUTORIAL, whoop whoop! here ya go – –
A few extra details:
–cut the 1×4 into 2 6inch boards, 2 5inch boards, and 2 4 inch boards, cut the 1×2 into 7 inch long
–fonts I used were Waterfalls and Little Buggy
When planning out your sign, the order I have my boards in is: Large-Medium-Small-Medium-Large-Small

So cute!! Thank you for making the tutorial! I’m hosting a craft party soon and we are going to make these! 3 questions- do you think we need to sand the wood before we apply the card stock? And did you find that applying Modge Podge to the finished product made it sticky/tacky when it was dry? I was thinking I should provide tissue paper or something for my friends to wrap up their projects to take home and I don’t want it to stick, especially for storage. Finally, Any advice for the blocks not scratching shelves?

sorry, you might have already had your craft party – – but yes, I provided sandpaper for those that wanted to smooth down their block edges. It was a little sticky when we were done, so everyone carried their blocks home on paper plates – hope that helps!
