Easter is going to be here before we know it! This year for Easter, we are focusing on 8 core principles that can lead to peace in your life and will help you draw closer to the Savior, Jesus Christ. They are Faith, Compassion, Forgiveness, Repentance, Gratitude, God’s Word/Scripture, Prayer and Hope. You can learn more at Mormon.org .
Today I have a special blog guest to share some thoughts with you on prayer – my 12 year old daughter. Prayer is a great strength for our family and I love to hear about it from her perspective:
———————————
Prayer is when we can communicate with God to ask for help or guidance or to thank Him for our blessings. My family has been praying specifically for certain people who we feel like are in need of our prayers for some reason or another. We pray by name for these people every morning and night. It has definitely made a difference in their lives and ours. As we pray by name for people, we are able to see how Heavenly Father blesses them. Some of the people we’ve been praying for have gotten baptized, been healed, and came back to church. I know that prayer is very important and praying for people by name really does work. It has blessed me and my family’s lives along with many others.

Love your craft room. What font did you use for your “create”? How thankful I am for a website that shares my views of Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ, and the precious Holy Spirit.

I think the font is Magnolia Sky – – I should have written it down so I’d remember for sure!

It’s so nice to know that your daughter has her own great perspective on prayer. Prayer is indeed a great strength for every family.
