Remember, each week I’m trying to post some pictures of the non-crafty side of life….
Did you know that Trevor has a side hobby of buying and selling cars? Every month or so he’ll sell the car he’s driving and find something else. Anyways, we live near Kansas City but he found a car he wanted to look at in St. Louis – – we took the kids and turned it into a fun day trip.
The St. Louis Zoo is free – and amazing! Here’s the whole gang (do you like how my 8 year old is standing under the tail and plugging his nose – classic boy!)
After the zoo we took the kids out to eat downtown, so it was a day filled with fun.

Ohhhh, I miss the STL zoo! I lived in STL for 4 years. We would always go early, park for free on the street, get to the children’s part before 10 so it’d be free, and have a cheap day. The Dallas zoo charges I think $14 a person, plus $7 for parking. Yikes. Great pics, thanks for sharing!

I love when bloggers share about their family. It makes them more real to me. 🙂 And your son reminds me of mine….must be a boy thing.
Love the STL zoo! It’s a beautiful zoo and you can’t beat free! You had a perfect day for it too! Looks like you enjoyed your visit!
LOVE the STL zoo! I’m from St. Louis and that is one of the best perks 🙂 Love your blog. Thanks for the link party every week!
Mandy, I don’t want to sound like a stalker, but I’ve been a follower of yours for a long time and love everything you do here!! When I saw this post, I just had to let you know I live in Blue Springs, Mo! I’m the little craft blog that tries! I just thought it was funny because we might pass each other some day in Mo and not know it!
