Photo Boards

As promised last week, I’m back to tell you about my scrapbooking project for Michael’s and their Make Every Moment Count initiative this month:

I’m not a big scrapbooker, but I do enjoy the idea of making something to save memories. And so the idea of a photo board was born – our neighbors are moving (boo!) and our girls are great friends, so I thought a photo board of pictures of themselves together would be perfect.

Michael’s is the mecca for scrapbook supplies – – walking up and down those aisles is a sea of fabulousness – so many goodies! Anything you can dream of needing, they have it. I grabbed some supplies:

And some flat canvas panels that come in a 3-pack:

I thought about just making these and giving them to the girls, but I think that part of the fun of scrapbooking is making it yourself, so I set out all the supplies and let them get to work. They loved having a project to do together – making memories while preserving memories 🙂

And how about these quilled stickers — I’ve always wanted to try quilling, but never have, and was super excited to find them pre-made in the scrapbook section. That’s easy!
