I don’t know what it is, but everyone is weak for the Eiffel Tower – it seems to be especially popular with several little girls I know. And they are super excited about these Eiffel Tower Earrings – I have a quick DIY tutorial for you, and you’ll love how simple they are to make. (this post is part of the Michael’s Makers Team)
I just love the fun pop of color – makes them fun and bright, but not to wild or crazy cause they’re small and cute:
And before we jump right in to the project, heads up, as you craft Springtime in Paris, you could win a trip!! So exciting! More info on that on down.
For these earrings you’ll just need a couple of things – spraypaint in desired color, earring hooks, and a couple of eiffel tower charms. I found all my supplies at Michaels.
I don’t know about you, but it is NOT spraypaint weather where I live – brrr! But that doesn’t stop me – I just use a box to contain the overspray and I can spray while in the garage or inside. Spraypaint one side of the charms, let dry, turn, and repeat for all sides.
Then just open up the split ring area that’s attached to the earring, slide on the charm, and close it back up (see below for the open visual).
Seriously, that’s it! Can you believe how easy these are to make??
· Now it’s your turn! That’s right, you can enter to win the trip of a lifetime to Paris too. How? By creating your own Parisian-inspired art, floral, baking or paper crafting project and uploading a photo to https://paris.michaels.com/ through March 31. You can also share your project on social using #SpringtimeInParis #Contest.
· What do you win? A four-night trip for two to Paris, 1,000 euros, a VIP tour of the Louvre, private classes including sketching, floral arranging, baking and more!
