This is a fun project for you or even for a tween to tackle – it comes together in no time!
DIY Ombre Shoes
You’ll need:
–blank canvas shoes
–painters masking tape
First off, you’ll want to tape off the sole edge of your shoe. Be sure to really get it adhered well – I missed a few spots, and the paint found it’s way under the tape.
Once the tape is on, you’re ready for the fun part!
I started at the front of the shoe and let the paint gradiate towards the back. I put a couple of light layers on the toe area until it had the darkness level I was looking for in color.
I then turned the show and did a quick pass on the side, spraying closer to the shoe while I was near the toe, and spraying farther away as I worked my way to the back of the shoe, so as to spray with less color in the back.
That’s all there is to it!! Imperfections are what make it fun, so don’t worry too much about getting it exactly right.
Wear and enjoy your new DIY Ombre Shoes!! Perfect for back-to-school or anytime.

So fun! I’ve been 😍 for the rose gold color shot but couldn’t figure out what to do with it. Now I know what I’m going to try.
