I love quick and easy, so obviously I love this little Button Pumpkin Craft. It turned out so cute, and I love that it’s simple to make and doesn’t take a ton of time. Perfect to make for a pop of fall in any home decor – just set it on a shelf, hang it on a wall, you name it.
And in case you love those pinterest-friendly tall images, here ya go:
You might not even need a tutorial for this one, but I took a couple of pictures for you just in case 🙂
You’ll need a mini chalkboard (I found mine on clearance at Michael’s for about a dollar) or a board or whatever you want to put your pumpkin on, then a pack of orange buttons, a green chalk, and of course your hot glue gun:
I set out all the buttons in a general pumpkin shape before I glued any on. I wanted to mix in small and medium and large buttons. Once I thought the shape was good, I attached the buttons to the chalkboard using hot glue.
I found I wanted a more dense orange coverage, so I glued another layer on top of the first layer. I like the coverage it gives and I love how it adds more dimension and thickness to the project – you can kind of see that here:
When the buttons are all attached, just draw on the stem with your chalk and that’s it! See, easy peasy – you can make one this afternoon 🙂
