Alright, apparently I have reached the end of my wardrobe. Here are some different ways I tried to wear things that I already showed you….
A third try with the weird front-wrap shirt – I think this is the best yet. Just plain with jeans, and a pop of color in the necklace. It’s kind of short for my taste so I wore a lace cami thing poking out under it:
Here the previous ways I’ve tried to wear it:
Moving on, a lace top. I was browsing my own pinterest boards (because I tend to forget what I actually pinned) and saw a lace top. It had white under the lace. Why didn’t I think of that – I bought a lace top thing, and I kept trying to put color under it. I love it so much more with a plain white shirt under it. Once again, pop of color in the jewelry. Ignore how I look so short – I think it’s the mirror….. (at least the bed is made this time so my mom can’t razz me about it…)
Here is it before, with a pink shirt under it:
And lastly, an outfit for the rain. Which funny, the gloomy day I wore this it never actually rained while I was out. The next day it did, but I forgot to wear my boots – of course!
I think I’ve already worn my boots with a purple shirt, but I can’t find it in the archives, so you’ll have to view the old look of a yellow shirt instead. Boots via Target online for $7 on clearance. Awesome.
I asked Trevor to snap a quick picture and he’s all “haven’t you worn that before?” like, what’s so special about it. I had to say, “yeah, but now I’ve added fabulous earrings and a scarf so it’s totally different!”
Scarf, $8 Old Navy outlet – kind of a splurge for me, but I really love it. Earrings, just $5 – seriously! It’s my new gig – more on that tomorrow….
you look so cute – I agree about the white lace shirt. I just went through my clothes and the pile went “paint clothes” v. “not paint clothes” – you guess which one won 😉
I love the last outfit! I also feel like I’ve run out of clothes to show and I haven’t been doing this nearly as long as you!
It’s not the mirror that makes you look short. #1,You are. #2 You’ve cuffed your jeans into shorts.
BAHA! Knowing that Kim’s your mom now makes me crack up at her comments. 🙂 Thanks Mom! heehee. Anyway, I really like the first top this way! And the white under the lace looks great! Way to branch out with what you already have!
Yep, look number three with that shirt is the best. I think I would have given up and said oh well- you are awesome and totally made it work
You look cute in all but I have too say, I was going through and just looking at the pictures and I liked the outfit with the white to white top the best and the first picture with the longer jeans and wrap top. THen I started READING your blog. Your right, the newest way looks better for both though the others were cute.
I like that first outfit. The shirt looks really good with the lace at the bottom and then the jeans. The lace shirt actually looks white with the white shirt underneath! Before it didn’t really look white which could have also been the lighting and not just the color underneath. I could never pull off these posts. I’d run out of clothes in probably three posts and that’s only with showing one or two outfits per post!
How did I not know that Old Navy had an outlet store??? I must go! I love the outfits btw. The rain boots are my fave!
