I was provided product for this post - all projects and opinions are my own
As you know, we’ve recently moved into the home we’ve been building – exciting times! Now it’s time to alert everyone of our new address – I love the idea of “we’ve moved” cards – both to send to family and friends, and then also to take over and introduce yourself and your family to new neighbors.
Of course, I had to add a little crafty flair – a personal touch 😉 I used moving stationary from Expressionery.com and then did a simple card-lacing with twine around the edge. I love how it turned out. And I have a quick tutorial for you on down…
First I wanted to show you the package I received from Expressionery – so cute!! I received address stationary along with my custom address stamp – I had an address stamp at our old home, and I have already been missing it here at our new home. I was having to hand-write return addresses on things, it was crazy 😉 So happy to be back into stamping that out.
For the cards, simply use a hole punch to punch holes around the edge, and lace twine through them. You can tie it on the back or the front. I have a short video tutorial showing you the step-by-steps of that project:
You could lace all types of stationary – possibilities are endless!
