Our family loves vacation! It’s something awesome to look forward to, and a time that forces us to drop our normal responsibilities and just hang out together. Last summer we took a big trip out west…
This year, we didn’t take a summer vacation – what?! But there’s a reason – we’re gearing up for something super-awesome during the winter… here’s hint…
So, since we’re doing a winter vacation, the summer and fall needs SOME kind of break. Can you guess where this is headed – yep, Branson! I know I’ve blogged about it before, but we love a small weekend getaway to Branson.
I love the break it gives us and the opportunity to spend focused time as a family. It is drive-able for us (well, for us anything is drive-able – – we’ve done 24 hr drives for vacation!) and I just love the atmosphere of Branson. Very family friendly with lots to do and see. And eat.
We are weak for tourist attractions…
and so this trip we plan on hitting up the Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson – can you believe we’ve never been! Did you know that Hollywood Wax Museum—Branson is the most photographed landmark in the region?
I’m excited that Hollywood Wax Museum was designed for interaction: rather than walking by and just looking, visitors are encouraged to walk into the open sets and take photos with the figures. Think of the photo opps!
